Washington, June 27 (ANI): Lending her support to the cause of ending bullying against gays, actress Lindsay Lohan has joined the 'No Hate' campaign.

The 'Mean Girls' star followed in the footsteps of straight celebrities like reality TV star Kim Kardashian and rocker Pete Wentz.

She appeared before the camera to shoot a new advertisement for the viral photo project to end the bullying.

The freckled star's decision to join the campaign coincided with Governor Andrew Cuomo making history after signing a bill to legalise gay unions in New York.

"Proud to be from Ny! Nice work to Gov. Andrew Cuomo," Contactmusic quoted her as tweeting about the announcement. (ANI)
