Four people injured in Khyber check post bomb blast

Peshawar, June 3(ANI): Four people, including three security officials, have been wounded in a bomb blast at a check post in Pakistan's Khyber tribal region.

The blast destroyed the check post at Ghundi area in Khyber's Jamrud tehsil on Friday, the Dawn reports.

Authorities said that security officials were on routine duty at the check post, when militants detonated a bomb planted nearby.

The four injured have been shifted to a hospital in Jamrud.

Security forces have cordoned off the area after the blast and started a search operation. (ANI)
