Maoists brutally beat two persons, call them police informers

Gaya , Thu, 02 Jun 2011 ANI

Gaya, June 2 (ANI): Suspected Maoists brutally beat up two people with heavy wooden stick on the pretext of them being police informers in the outskirts of Bihar's Gaya District.

Both the suspects - Shyam Sundar Yadav and Vinod Yadav - were constantly leaking vital information about Maoists' whereabouts and activities to local police.

Pleading for mercy, one of the victims Shyam Sundar Yadav promised not to leak information ever again in life and is willing to abide by the rules and regulations set by Maoists.

"We have committed a blunder and we vow not to betray the Maoists ever again. If we repeat, what we've done today, we will silently agree to accept the punishment given to us. As of now we plead for mercy," he said. (ANI)
