Guwahati, June 1 (ANI): Guwahati recently played host to the two-day Edufest 2011 festival to provide information about educational programs and opportunities both in India and abroad.
"It is a very good opportunity for students we do not have to go other places for admission we can get to know everything here because prospectus are all available here so, it is very good for students," said Basad Sharma, a visitor.
In the last nine years, Edufest has established itself as a forum where northeast students discover future study options.
At another event, representatives of the Manipur Science and Technology Council interacted with visitors and explained how their projects worked for the benefit of society.
Among the projects on display were an ecology preservation system and farm a management system.
"I am very interested in science and I want to join in any competition regarding science. That's my interest," said Sonia Thaonajam, a student. (ANI)
