Kathmandu, May 28(ANI): The world record holder for most climbs of Mt. Everest (also known as Qomolangma), Apa Sherpa, has said that he will not ascent the mountain again.

"In leading our international team of climbers to the summit on the Eco Everest Expedition 2011" (EEE-2011), I have now summited Mt. Everest for 21st time. I now feel satisfied and proud to be able to look back at a safe and successful expedition, where many new friendships and experiences were shared," Apa said at a press meet held to felicitate his 21st climb to Mount Everest.

Apa said he would continue supporting the EEE leader, Dawa Steven Sherpa, in his efforts to bring awareness to the world community about Climate Change and to help remove old garbage from the slopes, Xinhua reports

He has broken his own record by climbing Mount Everest for the 21st time.

He has participated in the EEE campaign four consecutive times since past four years. (ANI)
