Civil Aviation Ministry to increase Alliance Air services in northeastern region

New Delhi, May 18 (ANI): The Ministry of Civil Aviation has decided to increase the services of Alliance Air to Lilabari and Tezpur due to non-operation of Pawan Hans Helicopter services to Arunachal Pradesh.

Alliance Air will be increasing air services to Lilabari and Tezpur with ATR-42 aircraft, said the ministry here.

While Kolkata-Silchar-Tezpur and Tezpur-Silchar-Kolkata service operating thrice a week will continue, additional services will have services between Kolkata-Guwahati-Lilabari and Lilabari-Guwahati-Kolkata, which will be increased to five times a week.

Guwahati-Tezpur-Jorhat and Jorhat-Tezpur-Guwahati service will be run twice a week and the Guwahati-Lilabari-Tezpur and Tezpur-Lilabari-Guwahati service will be operated once a week.

With this, services to Tezpur and Lilabari will increase to six flights per week. (ANI)
