Lady Gaga's mum 'used to cut her hair as she slept'

Washington, May 18 (ANI): Lady Gaga has revealed that her mother used to cut her long locks while she was sleeping.

The singer has said that her new single 'Hair' is about how her parents tried to change her look after she dressed up to go out, without realizing how important your haircut is as part of your personality.

"When I was young my mom and dad used to ask me to not leave the house dressed a certain way and asked me to change my hair," Contactmusic quoted Gaga as telling UK radio station KISS.

"My mom would even cut my hair when I was asleep because I had really long split hairs, because I liked it really long like a hippy," she added. (ANI)
