STORY: A plastic scrap-yard caught fire in Jajmau town of India's northern Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday (May 17).
Although the fire was huge, no casualties have been reported.
Locals said they were worried about the spread of the fire, as a chemical factory was located close to the site.
"We have informed the fire service, but no one has come till now. What we are worried is that it shouldn't grow as it happened in a previous fire incident. There is also a chemical factory nearby. No one has yet arrived," said Samim Azad, a local.
