London, May 16 (ANI): She married Chad Elie- the Las Vegas businessman- the day after he was arrested in America's crackdown on Internet poker, and now she faces having her 1.5-million-dollars house seized by US prosecutors.
The 7,200 sq ft estate belonging to Destiny Davis, Playboy's 'Miss January of 2005', is one of six properties deemed 'forfeitable' in a fresh court filing by US prosecutors, reports the Telegraph.
American authorities may seize the properties as part of its busting of the country's three biggest poker websites - 'PokerStars', 'Full Tilt Poker' and 'Absolute Poker' - in a nation where online gambling is deemed illegal.
Described as a "payment processor", Elie, 31, was charged with nine offences, including bank fraud - a charge carrying a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison. (ANI)
