JUI-F denounces ISI chief's behaviour as provocative
Islamabad, May 15(ANI): Acting Ameer of Jamiat Ulam-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has described the attitude of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Lt. General Ahmad Shuja Pasha as provocative.
Haideri denounced the Pasha's behaviour, at an in-camera session of Parliament on Friday, as being incompatible with the Islamic religious principles, The News reports.
Pasha had hinted during the session that the JUI-F was receiving funds from Libya and Saudi Arabia.
In reply to Haideri's question during Parliament's session, Pasha had requested him not to get involved in elaborate discussions and said: "If we will discuss it, then things will go very far and everyone will come to know who has been receiving dollars from Saudi Arabia and Libya."
Haideri claimed that Pasha avoided talking about taking dollars from Saudi Arabia and Libya and presented contacts with them as a charge. Haideri also said his party was proud rather than ashamed of, having contacts with Libya, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries.
According to a private TV channel, he claimed to have more knowledge than Pasha on the Abbottabad operation and said the session had skipped some details.
Haideri revealed most of the politicians praised ISI and army but for the PML-N party, which used harsh words for ISI. (ANI)
