Hyderabad, Apr 30 (ANI): Unidentified assailants opened fire on Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi at Chandrayanagutta here on Saturday.
Akbaruddin was participating in a 'pada yatra' when the incident took place. As per latest reports, he has been admitted to a hospital with serious injuries.
Akbaruddin Owaisi is the younger son of late Sultan Salauddin Owaisi, the chief architect of All India Majlis-e-Ittadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the younger brother of AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi. (ANI)
