Isla Fisher likely to star in 'The Great Gatsby' remake

Melbourne, April 20 (ANI): Isla Fisher may join the cast of Baz Luhrmann's 3D adaptation of 'The Great Gatsby'.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 35-year-old Australian actress is in talks to play Myrtle in the film adaptation of the classic novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, reports News.com.au.

Leonardo DiCaprio was cast in the lead role of Jay Gatsby and British actress Carey Mulligan will play his love interest Daisy Buchanan.

'Spider-Man' star Tobey Maguire will serve as the narrator Nick Carraway, while actor Ben Affleck is reportedly in negotiations for the role of Tom Buchanan.

The Warner Bros. project is expected to start in August, lasting 17 weeks. (ANI)
