London, Mar. 31 (ANI): Soccer star Carlton Cole has removed immigration jokes from Twitter that he posted about Ghana fans during England's 1-1 draw at Wembley last night.

According to the Daily Mail, the England international, who did not play, faced a barrage of criticism from many of his followers after filing a succession ill-advised Tweets.

Realising that his remarks were offending people, he tried to calm the situation by asking his 'Ghanian brothers' not to take it seriously.

But after further consideration, he removed his comments. (ANI)
