Christina Applegate bid her breasts farewell with a nude photo shoot

London, October 2 (ANI): Breast cancer survivor Christina Applegate revealed that she did an emotional nude photo shoot before undergoing double mastectomy - to keep a fond memory of the twin assts she was losing.

 

The actress, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, gave the go-ahead to her doctor to remover her breasts to stop the disease from spreading.

 

The 'Anchorman' star revealed on Oprah Winfrey's U.S. talk show that she especially went through the emotional shoot to remember them.

 

"I did my first and last nudie photo shoot at home," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

 

"I made sure that I have close-up photographs of them from every angle, so I can kind of remember them," she added.

 

The actress further said that post operation she is disheartened since her fake 'expanders' looked nothing like her natural breasts.She said: "You've got scarring and there's a lot of things you're missing... and the shape is not the same and it doesn't feel the same and it's hard to carry your purse and there are so many limitations.

 

"It's sad. I cry at least once a day about it because it's hard to overlook it when you're standing there in the mirror."

 

However, despite the agony and stress, the actress lifted her spirits joking: "I don't have to wear a bra... ever again." (ANI)
