Islamabad , Sat, 26 Mar 2011 ANI

Islamabad, Mar.26 (ANI): A Pakistani man has been jailed for 60 years for kidnapping a five-year-old boy in Pakistan last year.

The court has also ordered the seizure of all property and belongings of the kidnapper Imran Husain, said an official in Rawalpindi.

The boy, Sahil Saeed Naqqash, from Oldham, was kidnapped from his grandparents house in central Pakistan in March 2010.

According to The Daily Mail, robbers held his family at gunpoint and demanded a 100,000 pounds ransom for his release.

His father, Raja Saeed, 28, handed over the sum and the child was released unharmed almost two weeks.

The boy was found wandering shoeless with his head shaved in a village called Dinga, Punjab.

The kidnap sparked an international police investigation, which led the kidnappers to move to a Spanish city of Tarronga, where three people were arrested. (ANI)
