Rudd says he is more likely to become Broncos' captain than be PM again

Canberra, Mar 15 (ANI): Australian Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd has said that he is more likely to become Broncos' captain than to hold his previous post again.

Although a recent poll has shown that most Australians want him back, Rudd doubts he will get the job again, news.com.au reports.

"I am not of the view that lightning strikes twice. My work is foreign minister is right up my alley and I am doing it to the best of my ability," he said.

"It's more likely for me to be captain of the Broncos," Rudd added.

Last year, Gillard had made a similar claim about her AFL side, the Western Bulldogs, saying: "There's more chance of me becoming the full-forward for the Dogs than there is any chance of a change in the Labor Party." (ANI)
