Hero Honda sales up 22.47 percent
New Delhi, Oct 1 (IANS) India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Honda Motors Wednesday said its sales rose 22.47 percent in September 2008.
The company sold 385,262 units during the month under review against 314,567 units in September 2007, a company statement said.
Cumulative sales for the April-September period this year stood at 18.

66 million units, compared to 15.59 million in the corresponding period last year, reflecting a growth of 19.68 percent.
'We have been driving the growth in the industry despite the interest rate scenario and overall credit squeeze in the market remaining unchanged,' Hero Honda Motors senior vice-president (marketing and sales) Anil Dua said.
He said the company expected to perform well in the coming festive season with new launches on the anvil.
