Hindu trader gunned down in kidnapping bid in Pakistan

Quetta, Feb 7(ANI): Unidentified men gunned down a Hindu trader when he resisted an apparent kidnapping bid in Pakistan's Balochistan Province.

 

According to the Daily Times, Ramesh Kumar was heading towards his general store in the Kandahari Bazaar in Quetta when armed men in a car intercepted him and tried to kidnap him at gunpoint.

 

The kidnappers fired at him when he put up resistance, killing him on the spot.

 

The attackers managed to escape from the crime scene.

 

"The victim received two bullets in his head which caused his death," sources at the Sandeman Hospital, which conducted an autopsy, as saying.

 

A case has been registered against the unidentified killers and investigations are underway. (ANI)
