Mumbai, Sept 30 (ANI/Business Wire India): Airnetz Aviation Pvt. Ltd's flightpool.com is set to launch a rational approach to flying privately.

This economical, fuel efficient, and convenience friendly way of travelling is all set to take the aviation industry by storm.

Flight Pool offers sharing a charter plane with other business class executives for fares as good as a business class ticket. This first of its kind service will be operational to over 25,000 airfields worldwide.

"Less than 30 per cent of these airfields are accessible by schedule carriers," said Atul Khekade, CEO Airnetz Aviation Pvt. Ltd. He said that in India, flightpool.com would support over 350 airfields.

Over 50,000 people everyday fly with full service carriers. Flightpool.com will offer private flying to these customers who can fly with other friends from the corporate sector at their convenience.

"This will certainly avert the price tag of an overnight stay in certain cities where the frequency of schedule airlines is low. You can choose from Helicopters, Turbo Props, Small Jets to even large airliners depending on your group size to use flight pool," added Khekade.

Airnetz offers these aircrafts from a wide range of global aircraft network that Airnetz has access to.

"Creating a flight pool is absolutely free. Flight Pool gets activated when individual cost of flying has been approved by the flyers. You only have to pay at least 48 hours before departure," said Khekade.

Airnetz flight pool tickets can be booked through travel agents who usually book tickets for schedule airlines. There are over 150 travel agents in India who add to services of Airnetz private aircrafts.

Flight pool not only pertains to the corporate but also various populaces like actors going to attend a major award function like Cannes or IIfA awards. It can be relevant to artists on album tours, group of scientists or scholars going for a global summit, teachers going for education convention, etc.

"We want to make our services available to common man. He should be accessible to convenience. Besides that the entire concept of flight pool really saves energy. Global warming is also one of our concerns," Khekade added.

Atul Khekade is confident that flightpool.com will carry over five million passengers worldwide by 2009.

Along with India, flight pool will also be launched in US and Europe simultaneously. It is definitely an alternative solution at the same cost of a schedule full service carrier ticket. (ANI)
