Vice President expresses grief at Jodhpur temple stampede

New Delhi, Sept 30 (ANI): Vice President Hamid Ansari today expressed grief at the Chamunda Devi Temple stampede in Jodhpur that killed more than 100 people and injured over 200.
He has conveyed his deepest condolences to the families of those killed and injured in the stampede.
According to media reports, rumours of a bomb in Mehrangarh near Jodhpur area led to the stampede.
A huge number of devotees, especially women, had gathered at the temple from early morning in view of the Navratra festival.
According to sources, 50 bodies were brought to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and the others are being sent to Mathura Das Hospital here. (ANI)
