Intex Aqua Amaze+ With VoLTE and Multitasking Support Launched with a Price Tag of Rs. 6290 Only

Intex has rolled out another budgeted smartphone in form of Aqua Amaze Plus on Tuesday. This model in the Aqua range of Intex phones has been added after the launch of Aqua Amaze, which was launched in October 2016. The phone is priced at an affordable Rs. 6,290 and has some pretty decent features for that price range.

On the event of launch the Director and Business Head of Intex Technologies, Nidhi Markanday said, “At Intex, we are constantly upgrading our products and services. By launching Aqua Amaze+ we are creating a reflection of our users' desires to meeting their needs.” She further stated, “In this handset, we have offered a HD display quality, which will give users a high-resolution experience, making the viewing angles absolutely heavenly. We are happy to launch this 4G-enabled smartphone for our users and are confident of expanding our reach."

The phone is expected to face tough competition from other brands like Micromax and Reliance Digital, which have recently released Vdeo 3 and Vdeo 4, as well as, LYF Wind 7s respectively. The phone is made available in Black, Blue and Grey tints in the Intex retail stores.

Intex Aqua Amaze Plus has a 4.7-inch HD IPS LCD display panel with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and pixel density of 312 pixels per inch. The screen is not scratch resistant, but the visual quality is fair enough for the price that it comes for. The device has a dimension of 139.6x68.8x9.4mm and weighs 128 grams.

In terms of camera, the handset boasts of 5-megapixel sensors both in the front and rear and with flash modules. The primary camera is also enabled with Face Detection, Auto Focus, Digital Zoom, Panorama mode, HDR, Touch Focus and Geo Tagging.

On the software front, the 4G VoLTE- supporting phone runs on Android OS 6.0 Marshmallow. Although it has not been detailed officially, it is expected to have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hot Spot, FM Radio, GPS and Micro USB as the standard connectivity options. The dual-SIM handset comes with 2000 mAh powered Li-ion battery, which is reportedly capable of lasting up to 200 hours in standby mode and up to 18 hours in talking mode on single charge.

Under the hood, there is a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A SoC, clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz. The storage options consist 8 GB of on-board memory, which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card, and 1 GB RAM. The processor and operating system combined with the storage allows multitasking, to be performed quite easily even on this economical smartphone. The elegant looking Aqua Amaze Plus also has some pre-loaded apps like GamePlay, Vdio Play and LFTY which enhance the usefulness of the phone by providing value-added services to the users.
