Coolpad Max Gets A Price Drop In India!

New Delhi, Thu, 22 Sep 2016 NI Wire

It has become very common sight to see smartphones slashing their actual prices to match the competition or extend their life in the market.

In the past, we came across many devices which made a cut down in the price to attract more uers; even Apple did it with its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S after launching the new iPhones, 7 and 7 Plus. And the latest one joining the brigade is Coolpad Max, which as heard has got a considerable discount of Rs. 11,000 from its actual price of Rs. 24,999. The Coolpad Max is now available for a price of Rs. 13,999.

It is also heard that Coolpad is working on launching a new Note device, which will have premium features and would be unveiled on September 23.

Coolpad Max: The Changes

It is notable that Coolpad had earlier launched the Max in India in the month of May for Rs 24,999. This price didn't fit Coolpad's budget bracket, as seen in the earlier devices. Also, it failed to create the much needed friction as was done by the low priced Coolpad devices.

This might be the reason that Coolpad has now decided to cut down the price so that it can come at a budget price and win attention from smartphone buyers. And we must commend that Coolpad has chosen the right time of making this big change in the device's price. It's festive time in India, and chances are high of people buying more devices for the purpose of gifting them to their loved ones. Amidst this, Coolpad is also releasing a high-end device on September 23. It has been coined as the ‘Beast' among the best and is estimated to come with a gigantic 5,000mAh battery, Snapdragon chipset and a 4GB RAM.

So far Coolpad has not let out any word in regards to the premium device which will be launched in a couple of days, which is quite a surprise as the release date is so close. They only shared a small teaser of the device. However, those who have used Coolpad devices in the past will certainly be happy with this latest offer coming their way.

As know, the Coolpad Max released at Rs 24,999 and made available exclusively on Amazon India, is now being sold for a price of Rs 13,999. You can buy both its gold and rose gold editions for the same price. Coopad Max did receive good reviews for its trendy design apart from decent camera, battery as well s performance. However, despite some wonderful features, the device didn't bag many users because at the price, users already had quite a few options to select from.

It is notable that Coolpad was earlier priced nearly Rs 25,000, and at this price range, one had the choice of selecting other options such as the Xiaomi Mi 5, OnePlus 3, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and Lenovo Z2 Plus. But with the price slashing, Coolpad Max is now a prominent device under the Rs. 15,000 slab.

Coolpad Max At A Glance

Just to recall, the Coolpad Max comes with 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved display along with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. At the camera front, it has 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The device comes powered by 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 617 CPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB resilient storage. Coolpad Max even comes with exceptional dual space utility that splits the device into two variants using the BiLogin technology and has full metal framework. It also comes with fingerprint scanner and is powered by 2,800mAh battery.

Time for some big saving, isn't it? So, if you are looking for a new smartphone, it's time to take the call and invest in Coolpad Max!
