New Delhi, 9th August: The BJP workers today organised TIRANGA YATRA in about 100 prominent parks and markets of Delhi on the 75th Anniversary Day of the launch of decisive freedom struggle against the British on 9th August, 1942 under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi.
According to BJP Delhi Pradesh General Secretary Smt. Rekha Gupta the purpose of this Tiranga Yatra is to apprise the youth of the country about the history of freedom struggle and connect them with the works of national well being.
Senior National and Delhi BJP leader Sardar R.P. Singh, Smt. Rekha Gupta, Shri Ashish Sood, Shri Abhay Verma, Shri Jai Prakash, Shri Kuljeet Chahal, Smt. Shikha Rai along with District, Mandal Presidents and thousands of local workers joined the Tiranga Yatras organised at around hundred places.
At several places School children & RSS volunteers too joined the Tiranga Yatras.
