Delhi BJP Presents a Five Point Charge Sheet Against CM Arvind Kejriwal Government, says People are Fed up with him and Demanding his Resignation

New Delhi, 25th July: At a Press Conference today Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay presented a Citizens Charge Sheet against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and demanded his resignation. State BJP General Secretaries Shri Ashish Sood, Smt. Rekha Gupta & Media Incharge Praveen Shankar Kapoor were present at the Press Conference.

Shri Upadhyay said Arvind Kejriwal has not only failed as a Chief Minister but also as a Party President. Time and again Arvind Kejriwal has called other political parties as anti democracy but he himself does adhere even the basic principal of democracy and continues to sit on dual posts of Party President as well as the Chief Minister. In many other states too we have seen regional parties coming up on the face value of a local leader but even there after coming to power that face shared one of the two posts with another party leader. In Delhi we find just the opposite and a man who tries to teach ideals to others continues to sit on the dual posts.

Shri Upadhyay presented a five point charge sheet against the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Presenting the five points Charge Sheet he said that people of Delhi are fed up with Kejriwal, they are in no mood to tolerate him any further and it is time Arvind Kejriwal resigns.

Major Points of the Charge Sheet:-

• Atrocities on Women: Out of the 70 election promises of Arvind Kejriwal women security was the most hyped but once in power Kejriwal Government has just ignored it and no concrete programme has been launched. Delhi Commission for Women has become a political play ground, matters of domestic violence by MLAs and harassment of women coming with local problems by MLAs & their goons have become a routine. The situation has become extremely shameful after the family of AAP volunteer Smt. Soni who was forced to suicide told the media that Arvind Kejriwal and other party leaders to whom Smt. Soni went to complain against party colleagues harassing her told her to compromise with them.


• Enough Frauds & False Promises: Arvind Kejriwal made 70 promises to the people of Delhi but has not fulfilled even one. Be it the promise of cheap power or free water the benefits have failed to reach the common man and it is all a game of statistics. Delhi Government had made a claim in February, 2016 of waiving old undue bills of 11 lakh consumers but when a RTI reply was sought by one activist Subodh Kumar in the matter the Jal Board has informed that the benefit reached only partially that is only to 2,28,000 consumers.

Similarly Arvind Kejriwal before the election said that we will not tolerate anyone doing any wrong deed but once in power we have seen Ministers & MLAs Jitender Singh Tomar and Somnath Bharti doing frauds.

• Enough of Anarchism & Mis-Governance: Before the election Arvind Kejriwal talked of Swaraj, Good Governance & end of VIP culture. Once in power we have seen Kejriwal MLA's anarchic face on matters like entry of car into a police station while Arvind Kejriwal himself has created a situation of conflict with the centre putting the spirit of federal governance in the constitution to stake. In the Government of those who spoke for good governance the administrative work has come to a standstill, the Government claims that it has insufficient officers while a RTI reply tells that Delhi Government has more officials than the sanctioned strength.

The talk of shortage of officials is handled to raise a conflict with centre but the administration has collapsed due to work distribution within the Government. The CM has no work, 4 Ministers have no significant work while one Minister is handling 6 important departments and this has resulted in collapse of governance.

• Enough of Religious Frenzy: Before the 2015 elections Delhi saw several incidents of minor attacks on religious places, an effort was made to divide the society on religious lines. AAP leaders now MLAs Amanatullah Khan & Jarnail Singh has faced allegations of trying to spread communal hatered. In an Urdu Academy Government function the words used by MLA Amanatullah Khan constitute Rashtra Droh. Sadly Arvind Kejriwal has chosen to ignore.

AAP has tried to repeat the pre 2015 Delhi Elections religious provocation game in Punjab too. With the arrest of MLA Naresh Yadav for instigating sacrilege of Holy Quran has exposed the scary face of Arvind Kejriwal.

• Enough of Scams & Corruption: Kejriwal came to power levelling major charges of corruption against the then Sheila Dikshit Government of Delhi but once in power Arvind Kejriwal Government has chosen to ride the corruption plane of erstwhile Congress Government.

A Kejriwal Government Committee exposed a 400 crores Water Tanker scam in Delhi Jal Board. The CM not only suppressed the report but during last 18 months his Government itself has indulged in over 200 crores pilferage in this account from Jal Board.

Onion Scam, Sugar Scam, Auto Permit Scam, CNG Scam, Recruitment Scam, Advertisement Scam, proposed Premium App Bus Service Scam all around we find Scams, Scams & Scams. Scams have become synonyms with Delhi Government.
