Irrfans cap and won accolades from all Real Life Incident Infuses The Spark In Madaari!
Bollywood seems to be smitten by the suspense factor. In the recent months weve seen a lot of suspense based dramas and upcoming months also boast of a similar lineup. First we had Te3n starring Vidya Balan, Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and then we had Nawaz back in a crime thriller, Raman Raghav 2.0 backed by Anurag Kashyap.
Next thriller drama in store is Madaari, which has a social touch to it. The film is directed by Nishikant Kamat and is presented by Bharat Shah and produced by Shailesh Singh, Madan Paliwal, Sutapa Sikdar and Shailja Kejriwal and co-produced by Kshitiz Bhardwaj.

Plot
Inspired from real life incident, Madaari revolves around an under-construction bridge in Mumbai that collapse leading to some fatal accident. The incident took place in suburban Marol in 2012. This affects the life of Nirmal, played by Irrfan, who loses his family in the disaster. He then starts his journey of seeking answers which urges him to take vengeance.
Cast
The film stars Irrfan Khan in the lead role of Nirmal Kumar, Vishesh Bansal plays the child Rohan Goswami, Jimmy Shergill is seen as Nachiket Vema, Tushar Dalvi essays Prashant Goswami and Nitesh Pandey will be seen as Sanjay Jagtap. The film also stars child actor Sadhil Kapoor as Cheeku.
Production
The film is majorly shot in the parts of New Delhi, Rajasthan, Shimla, Mumbai and Dehradun. Its first look was released on May 10 and trailer was released on YouTube by T-series on May 11.
Director Nishikant Kamat has given some hard hitting films in the past, Mumbai Meri Jaan, which was also based on the background of a sad disaster: the Mumbai train bombings on July 11, 2006. His latest outing in Bollywood was Rocky Handsome starring John Abraham and Shruti Hassan which was a complete action drama.

As we said earlier, films trailer has received positive response from all spheres. Irrfan is at his best and is looking terrific throughout the trailer. The supporting cast is also great and the film does showcase some great talent.
It is set to release on July 15 and we really hope that Madaari will again prove to be a feather in Irrfans cap and won accolades from all!
