Didnt we tell you that Bollywood is indeed smitten by suspense thrillers? Well, to prove the same, we have now Fever on our list. Its a suspense thriller written and directed by Rajeev Jhaveri and produced by Ajay Chabbria of ICM Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
The film stars TV actress and Bigg Boss fame Gauhar Khan with Rajeev Khandelwal in the lead roles along with Gemma Atkinson, Caterina Murino and Ankita Makwana. The film was majorly shot in Switzerland.
Fevers trailer came out on 14 June 2016 and the movie is set to release on 22 July 2016. Let us dwell deep into the movie and understand it closely.
Fever: Things to Know
The film relates to a contract killer who loses his memory in an accident. He only remembers his name and a woman who he thinks can help him get back his lost identity. As seen in the films trailer, Rajeev Khandelwal is seen playing the contract killer and would romance both the ladies, Gauhar and Gemma. If you have seen the trailer, you may have got to understand a lot about the films plot as it gives in many details about Fever.
As seen in the trailer of Fever, Rajeev's character is a Casanova who flirts around with girls as he has loads of money. One fateful day he meets with a major accident and loses his memory. Even though he has lost his memory, he can realize of having committed some offense but fails to retain information about his identity. He then makes efforts to get back his individuality and that is what forms the crux of Fever.
The trailer of Fever also shows a lot of kissing scenes as Rajeev is seen lip-locking with the female leads. The film will also apparently have a number of love-making sequences. Directed by Rajeev Jhaveri, the movie brings back Rajeev on the big screen after Salt Bridge(2015).
Films trailer has garnered a lot of attention owing to the intimate scenes between Rajeev and Gauhar. Their lip lock has become the highlight of the trailer and certainly the USP too. It is to note that Rajeev had his last release in 2015, Salt Bridge.
Given the multiple love making scene and intimacy, its even titled as thrillex a combination of theiller and sex. While speaking about the film, director Rajeev Jhaveri stated, "Thrillex is a movie that has loads of thrill with exotic locations, exciting suspense and sex, almost exing a genre. It will leave you shell-shocked with adrenaline pumping car chases, twist and turns with melodious songs.
For Gauhar, its certainly her major Bollywood film as she is playing the lead here. Earlier we had seen her playing important roles in Ishaaqzade and Rocket Singh-Salesman of the Year where she shared screen space with biggies Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor respectively.
It would be interesting to see how she will fare in Fever where she has some tough competition coming from other actresses. So, dont forget to catch Fever on July 22 at a theater near you!
