Let's here find out more about the device:

Meizu m3s: An Overview

Reports state that Meizu m3s has come up to be an outstanding upgrade in contrast to its recently-released m3 smartphone. If you talk about m3s then it is bit larger and bulkier as compared to m3. It even has a bigger battery than its predecessor. Reports state that m3s comes with 3,020mAh battery that happens to be 150mAh more than that of m3 smartphone which adds 6 grams to the device's weight.

Coming to the built and design, m3s showcase a metal unibody and thus make for a refreshing choice for all those who are no more interested in polycarbonate structure which was earlier seen in m3. Another factor that helps m3s standout is its fingerprint scanner – this feature was earlier missing from m3 but with m3s featuring it, the device is capable of competing against the rivals.

Specifications & Features
So far, battery and fingerprint sensor have been reported as the most significant change made in m3s from its counterpart m3. The other features and specifications happen to be still the same which calls for device's design which comes with a physical mBack button. The m3s sports 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass and 296ppi. It is backed by 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor in both of its 2GB and 3GB RAM variants and was common in m3 also. Both m3s variants showcase hybrid microSD card slot, which also works as dual SIM card slot.

Coming to camera, the setup has not seen much of change. The m3s comes with a 13MP main camera backed by features like PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and dual LED flash. For selfies, it has 5MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture and FotoNation 2.0. The new smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Flyme 5 OS for an instinctive and uncomplicated system app layout.

Availability of m3s

As of now, the m3s devices are restricted to availability in China only. Reports say that the device will be available for sale from Friday, June 17, 2016. So far, Meizu hasn't spoken about m3s releasing in the international market. It is speculated that m3s would certainly take some time to release in Indian market as the company has not even released the m3 smartphone yet. Last Meizu had released the M3 Note in India which did won admiration from both users and critics alike.

Now all eyes are set on m3 and its upgraded successor m3s. It is yet to be seen when Meizu plans to release them in Indian market and if it does, will the smartphones be able to create the same aura as done by M3 Note in the past.

Stay tuned for all the updates on Meizu devices – especially the m3 and its wonderful success m3s. Hope we get a word on their Indian release soon!
