What Helps The Moto G4 Plus Rule Over Galaxy J5 (2016 & Redmi Note 3)!

New Delhi, Sat, 11 Jun 2016 NI Wire

After a long time, smartphone maker Motorola is back in news for something really commendable. Its newest launch, the Moto G4 Plus has simply proved to be one of the most efficient budget smartphone currently available in the market.

Available for a mere price of Rs. 13,499, it offers 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM while at Rs. 14,999 you get the other variant with 32GB internal memory and 3GB RA. At this price, it’s now competing with some of the popular devices which fall under the Rs. 15,000 price tag. It’s in strong pitch with the likes of mighty ones including Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), OnePlus X, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo ZUK Z1, Lenovo Vibe S1 and others.

Though the Moto G4 Plus doesn't rule over other devices in some of the sectors but it’s indeed one device that gives them a run for their money.

It has quite amazing specifications for the price it offers. Let us here have a look at the features it sports to understand why the Moto G4 scores big.

Features That Help Moto G4 To Stand Out

To begin with, it features 5.5-inch display which offers 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density). The picture quality is quite crisp and clear. Moving on, the device comes backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor.

At the software front, Moto G4 runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It has an expandable memory up to 256GB through microSD card. It packs a 3,000mAh battery which has the Turbo charger feature.

All of its features are pretty decent and something to look out for, the major attraction in the device is its camera. The Moto G4 comes with 16MP rear camera decked with features like OmniVision Pure Cel Plus sensor, dual-LED flash and the PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus). For selfies, the device offers you a 5MP camera at front which has wide-angle lens.

It is highly notable that Moto G4 Plus had got a score of 85 for still images by DxOMark – known for reviewing smartphone camera. In the same rating graph, Moto G4 had managed to beat the powerful models such as iPhone 6s (83), Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (84), iPhone 6s Plus (84), and Samsung Galaxy S5 (80).

If we look at the hook here, then under Rs. 15,000, Moto G4 Plus is indeed offering the best camera in comparison to devices like Galaxy J5 (2016), OnePlus X, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo ZUK Z1 and Lenovo Vibe S1 which all fall under the same price tag.

The things which make it score lesser happen to be the processor as rival OnePlus X is offering a better processor but the same device is lagging behind Moto G4 in other major departments including the camera, display and the storage. The Moto G4 is strongly built and is just like any of the Motorola devices which are known for their durability.

For now, it is indeed the best smartphone to buy under this budget and its features are really good ones to use!
