The All New iPhone 7: Things To Look Forward For

New Delhi, Mon, 09 May 2016 NI Wire

As per its earlier claims, Apple was fully set to get rid of headphone jack and replace it with the Lightning headphones. However, if we look at the specifications of the upcoming iPhone 7 - the headphone jack is here to stay.

Ever since the internet has got hold of some of the leaked pics of iPhone 7, there have been speculations going around about this Apple device - which certainly has many takers worldwide. iPhone 6S was released in September 2015, and it is expected that as Apple phones have their releases once in a year - the iPhone 7 will most likely come in September 2016.

Though not much is known or clear at this stage, let us take you through some of details as gathered from the speculations and assumptions so far.

It will have a bigger battery

Everyone who used iPhone 6S talked about its smaller battery which apparently made the phone last for lesser time after a single charge. Meeting up this requirement, the iPhone 7 is said to have a bigger battery which would be a 7.04watt-hour model.

Wireless AirPods

As we said Apple isn't going Lightning port, instead it is said to make a set of Bluetooth wireless headphones. Apple has even registered the new headphones as AirPods.

It will be thinner

Apple is said to be using Fan-Out technology which means more I/O terminals will now be fitted to single chip thus letting Apple to put more components in a single fragment of silicon.

Camera

Whether or not iPhone 7 will have a double sensor camera or not is something still debatable. As such, it has been proposed that iPhone 7 will have 3 models and the supreme one will come equipped double camera sensor.

No OLED

It's something that Apple has been asked to change in its iPhones. The company was suggested to shift to OLED display instead of LCD. Though LCD is already doing good but OLED screens come with larger advantages. First, they are capable of producing darker blacks and the pixel is self-illuminating which is why they use less of power. But what we have gathered so far, Apple has still not brought in this change. And if go by the company's statements, it won't do it till 2017.

Other Speculations

The Apple iPhone 7 has a long way to go before it finally unveils itself. But the rumors and speculations don't seem to cease. With each leaked image surfacing on the web, we're made to come face to face with a new rumor.

Among the speculations that are doing round, major ones include the device having a USB-C port, which means it will have a 3D screen, also a curved and flexible display. It's even stated that iPhone 7 will have edge-to-edge screen, wireless charging, better waterproofing and dual camera.

Nothing is clear for now as Apple is said to be busy working on iPhone 7 secretively and is reported to be testing nearly 5 distinct models. There is also a speculation about Apple ditching its Home button in its continuous endeavor for miniaturization. But this can't be true as Apple can't get smaller than its current size as it has to have Home button.

We're yet in the monarchy of patents, and these changes could without difficulty end up coming in shipped merchandise numerous years. Apple, like the other renowned tech companies, regularly goes out for more patents.
Let us wait for September 2016 to know what iPhone 7 will have in store for its enthusiasts. For now, let speculations roll on so that we can at least think of the possibilities the device can come equipped with!
