New Delhi, Wed, 04 May 2016 NI Wire

Last month, we saw prominent phone makers like HTC, Huawei, LeEco and others announcing flagship smartphones.

Now, this month we’ll get to see bigwigs like Samsung, Sony and Motorola unveiling feature rich but budgeted smartphones.

Let’s have a look at the smartphones which will get launched in May (check out which one will be your pick)

Motorola Moto G4

The first on the list is Moto G4 to be launched by Lenovo-owned Motorola. The phone will see its grand release on May 17. And so far, the company has managed to release some promising teasers speculating the probable features the device will have. It’s said that G4 will be available in two models: the Moto G (4th gen) as well as Moto G Plus both of which will have 5.5-inch screens.

Sony Xperia C6 series

Sony seems to be all set with the successors of its Xperia C5 series with Sony F3216 and F3311. The new Sony Xperia C6 series would be out by May end. Sony F3216 will have full-HD (1920x1080p) screen along with 2GB RAM and 16GB in-built storage. Sony F3311 on the other hand will have HD (1280x720p) display with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Samsung Galaxy C7, C5 series

Galaxy C7 will have 5.5-inch full HD display, it will run Android's newest v6.0.1 Marshmallow backed by a 64-bit class Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8953) 625 octa-core CPU. This device is expected to have a metal like body, quite similar to its Galaxy A series.

The Galaxy C5 is said to have 5.2-inch full-HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, an Adreno 406 graphics engine and 4GB RAM.

Xiaomi Mi Max

This one’s going to be out on May 10. As per speculations, the device will have gigantic 6.4-inch full HD display and it will run on Android Lollipop-based MIUI v7.0 OS. It will be decked with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory with a 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

OnePlus 3

Though the final launch date of the phone is yet to be confirmed, it’s believed that the device would get unveiled on May 18 or May 28. There will be two variants available for OnePlus3: one with 4GB/32GB storage and another with 6GB/64GB.

Meizu M3 Note

The device has already been unveiled in the Chinese market, and after facing a bit of delay, it’s set to hit Indian stores in May. Meizu M3 Note is going to be available for around Rs. 9,000. It has a 5.5-inch full HD display, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has 2GB/3GB RAM.

Lenovo's ZUK Z1

The phone has already released its version in China, but in Indian markets, we’ll get to see it in the month of May. Two main key aspects of ZUK Z1 are Cyanogen OS and high-capacity 4,100mAh battery, which will help the phone run for nearly 526 hours.

Nextbit Robin

Nextbit Robin is currently available in the US market but if you’re interested in this device, you can get it shipped. However, for the same, you’ll have to pay $70 (approximately Rs. 4,667) as delivery charge. Once the device gets officially launched here – it would be just like buying any other smartphone.

This device will provide you with free 100GB cloud storage and whenever you’ll connect this phone to Wi-Fi Internet, it will involuntarily sync the apps, images and videos with cloud storage. The company has even included a light system decked with four LEDs – these stay synced with the cloud storage to update you about the syncing process.

Well, the list is quite long and exciting too. This month, choosing the right smartphone is surely going to be a task – stay tuned to know what these phones hold for you so that you get to make the right choice!
