New Delhi, Nov 28 (IANS) The Delhi government on Monday launched a campaign in government-run schools against drug abuse among students, a government statement said.
The campaign, kicked off at Rani Chennamma Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Jahangirpuri, will create awareness among students about the drug menace using activities like poster making, quizzes, short movie screening and interactions, the statement added.
Earlier, the Delhi government launched a drive against drinking in public areas imposing heavy fines and making arrests for creating nuisance after consumption of liquor.
