Mumbai, Nov 6 (IANS) Actor Vir Das is geared up for the Potcast Tour across India in the coming year.
In 2015, Vir introduced the Potcast on the digital platform. He used to take a jab at various headlines sitting on a toilet pot.
Vir said in a statement: "Potcast was a small idea that came to me last year and it was a very simple to do digital content idea. I expected it to have its own following but immediately it got over a million hits each week."
The actor, who has featured in films like "31st October" and "Shivaay", had to pause it for a while as he was extensively travelling.
He even performed the Potcast live at the 2016 edition of his comedy festival, Pajama Fest, but his fans wished to see more of it.
"So, we had an idea to do an actual official Potcast tour and now it's finally happening. Glad that this small idea had plunged into something that's now literally an official multi-city tour," he said.
