HPL Electric at 'Light India Exhibition' in New Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 7 (IANS) Established electric equipment manufacturing company HPL Electric & Power Ltd displayed its vast lighting range at the 'Light India Exhibition' held here from October 5-7.

The range on display covered Consumer, Lighting Electronic Drivers, Commercial and Industrial & Outdoor Lighting equipment, the company said in a statement here.

Light India, the country's largest B2B trade fair for the lighting industry, offered an opportunity to meet potential/existing buyers, develop new business contacts, connect with experts from the industry and gain insights about the industry.

Speaking on the company's participation at the exhibition, HPL Electric & Power Ltd Joint Managing Director Gautam Seth said: "Light India Exhibition, being the largest exhibition for the lighting industry, was a good opportunity for us to display our lighting range and to connect with the right stakeholders. At the exhibition, we displayed Smart Lighting Solutions like CCMS technology for streetlight, Mobile-operated LED Lamps, and IR-censor-based Lighting Panel for commercial segment, among others.

"HPL is looking to expand its dealer and distributor network to 3,000 and retailer network to 21,000 by the end of this year. Our market penetration has been growing -- especially in the tier-II and tier-III cities. The focus now is going to be on Brand awareness."

HPL is an established electric equipment manufacturing company in India, manufacturing a diverse portfolio of electric equipment, including metering solutions, switchgears, lighting equipment and wires and cables, catering to consumer and institutional customers in the electrical equipment industry.

On September 22, HPL opened an initial public offering of equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each for cash at a price band from Rs 175 to Rs 202 per Equity Share. The issue closed on September 26.
