North Delhi Municipal Commissioner, Mr. Praveen Kumar Gupta today inspected Sadar Paharganj area alongwith. Engineer-in-Chief, Mr. Anil Prakash; Deputy Commissioner ( Sadar Paharganj Zone) Mr. R.S Meena; Director –in- Chief (DEMS), Mr. K.P Singh and senior officials of other departments.
The Commissioner, Mr. Gupta inspected under-construction Rani Jhansi Road flyover and directed the officials of engineering department to take immediate steps to remove debris near the road. He also directed the officials to finish the work at the earliest.
While inspecting the Road-under Bridge at Azad Market, he checked the progress of the project and directed the officials to speed up the work and remove debris lying on the both sides of the road. He also directed the officials to install temporary pumps on vulnerable points and anti-larva spray to check breeding of mosquitoes and spread of disease.
Commissioner, Mr. Gupta also inspected the under-construction Bada Hindu Rao polyclinic and checked the construction quality and layout. He directed the officials to speed up the work and directed to check that due to construction work the water does not stagnate.
