Incidents of eve teasing and crime against girls are prime concern: Delhi BJP

Delhi BJP has expresses its anguish over the security of girls students in the capital. According to Party sources, in the weekly meeting of the BJP Delhi Pradesh Office bearers, it was decided that a conclave of RWAs of Delhi will be organized on Saturday the 2nd August at Constitution Club to take ‘Budget Par Charcha’ program to the people in which Central Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley will address the representative of RWAs of Delhi.

Party also expressed its concern over the incidents of eve teasing and crime against girls in Delhi.BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay expressed his anguish over the incidents of eve teasing and crime against girl students. He talked to the Police Commissioner Shri B.S. Bassi in this regard and demanded that the number of women Police officers should be increased in the patrolling during night hours. Besides this, the police should be more vigilant during the arrival and departure time of girl students around all the schools of Delhi.

All the Police Stations of Delhi should be given directions that they should mark out the anti social elements by regular contact with the local RWAs and the Mohalla Sabhas. Special care should be taken for the girls living in rural areas rehabilitation and J.J. Clusters and arrangement for regular duty of the beat constables should be ensured on these places.
