Member of Parliament East Delhi, Maheish Girri has been doing rounds of Assembly Constituencies of East Delhi along with the senior government officials of PWD, MCD, Delhi Jal Board, DDA, Irrigation Department, Delhi Police, BSES, Traffic Police and officials from DM office to evaluate the civic problems of the area and to meet the local residents. Yesterday he visited the Kondli area of his constituency.
Many departments have been sent official letters reading grievances of the people which deserve their urgent attention and action.
DDA has been asked on cleanliness of the road and maintenance of the area behind sewer treatment plant in New Kondli. Drainage Cleaning issue is also taken up with them. DDA has also been asked for a community hall in Block C1, Indira Chowk, New Kondli and park in Gharoli Dairy Farm Colony.
Police Department has been instructed to increase the Police Surveillance at the park opposite Harijan Basti.
EDMC attention has been brought to matters like garbage dump on Kondli T-point, Drain blockage matter which is long pending due to lack of coordination between UP irrigation, MCD, I & FC and PWD. These government bodies have been requested to take the initiative and resolve the matter.
Many other departments have been issued official letters too pertaining to problems in Kondli area. The authorities of these departments have been asked to take up the issues on highest priority. Maheish Girri has assured the residents that he will keep following-up with these authorities to ensure that these civic problems are resolved.
