Amid the tentative journey of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US has said that now the time has come to transform bilateral relationship into a historic partnership that can create a more prosperous future for the world. Such a speculation was conveyed by US Secretary of State John Kerry who was discussing on the issue.
John Kerry further said that the moment is a potentially transformative in nature in our relationship with India and there is a need for long term strategic partnership between both the countries.
Commenting on the post-election scenario and the formation of the new government in India, Kerry said that this is the moment to transform our strategic relationship into a historic partnership and it is the moment for which this can be a moment where our destinies converge.
He further said that US and India can create a more prosperous future for the world.
Terming the India-US ties as to blossom, Karry said that both the countries can be indispensable partner for the 21 st century and the dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit of relationship between both the countries would solve some of the world’s greatest challenges.
It is noted that Karry is all set to visit to New Delhi tomorrow. During his visit to India, he will co-chair the fifth India-US Strategic Dialogue with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj on July 31.
