Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express Derails in Bihar: Four dead, many injured

Chhapra, Bihar: In shocking incidents in the Bihar, at least four people were killed and more than a dozen were injured when New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express derailed in Bihar's Saran district in the wee hours of Wednesday. It has been said that some of the injured in the accidents are serious.

According to sources, the incidents occurred in the Chhapra has triggered a speculation about the involvement of the Maiosit in the incident. However the matter is still to verified about the indulgence of Maoist in the accident.

Meanwhile it has been said that during the incident in the area, there was a bandh in Saran and Tirhut police ranges of northern Bihar beginning zero hour.

Sources claims that Five coaches B-1,B-2,B-3,B-4 overturned in the accident. Due to the incident, seven other coaches got derailed.

Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manhi expressed his grief over the incident. Meanwhile he ruled out any chances for involvement of Maoist in the incident. Mandhi said that there is no evidence which suggests any Maoist hand in the incident.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh also said that it will be too early to blame the incidents on Maoist.

Railway minister Sadanand Gowda announced a compensation of Rs. 2 lakh each for the families of the deceased, Rs. 1 lakh each for the grievously injured passengers and 20,000 each for those with minor injuries.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has condoled the loss of lives due to the accident of the Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express. He prays for the speedy recovery of the injured.

The Prime Minister is in touch with the Railway Minister, who has updated the Prime Minister on the relief work at the accident site.
