Sarika is going to be seen next in Eros International's youth flick Purani Jeans, wherein she will be playing the role of Aditya Seal's mother!
Well, what we hear is, Sarika's inspiration for Purani jeans was Gayatri Devi! Gayatri Devi was the Maharani of Jaipur and is been awarded in 10 most beautiful women of India by Vogue!
Sarika, who is also playing the role of a woman from a royal family, kept Gayatri Devi's photo as a reference for her costume designing!
A source close from the production team of Purani Jeans says,"Yes, Sarikaji's dressing and jewelry is all inspired by Gayatri Devi. When Sarikaji learned that she is playing a woman from a royal family, she insisted on referring to Gayatri Devi for her saris! Sarikaji has herself won an award for best costume designer and she personally looks up to the way Gayatri Devi dresses up!"
Well, looking at Sarika in the promos of Purani Jeans, we are sure that she has come quiet close to looking like Gayatri Devi!
