North Delhi Mayor Azad Singh inspected areas in Karampura , Moti Nagar , Mansarovar Garden , and Keerti Nagar . He was accompanied by the MLA from Moti Nagar Subhash Sachdeva, councillor of Kirti Nagar Mr. Rajkumar Lamba, Deputy Commissioner of Karol Bagh Zone Dharmendra Kumar and senior officials of other departments.
The Mayor directed the officials to demolish the 15-year-old dilapidated school building in Karampura and develop a playground for children in place of that. Besides, he directed that a recreation centre for senior citizens and a library be developed at a vacant land in the area. On a land adjacent to a commercial area near Karampura, the Mayor directed that a parking be developed.
Azad Singh said that a recreational centre be developed instead of a gym at Moti Nagar and all the facilities for maintenance of parks be provided. He directed that the concerned officials for the renovation of Moti Nagar Chest Clinic.
At Mansarovar Garden, he directed the officials to develop a view cutter in front of a dhalao. The Mayor also said that an air-conditioned community hall be developed at a big piece vacant land in Ramesh Nagar. He asked the officials to consider about shifting the Zonal office at this place.
He also directed the officials to repair the toilet outside the sports complex. He said that a three-storey poly clinic be developed after demolishing the dilapidated building of corporation’s dispensary. He also warned the officials to maintain proper cleanliness and maintenance in the parks.
