Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana which the Central Government had launched to provide irrigation to farmers, and the Make in India initiative which would boost employment. He was addressing an election rally here.
Addressing the rally, Prime Minister said that Tuljapur has been missing out on tourism due to poor connectivity. He asked the people what they had got from the Cong-NCP government in the last 15 years. He raised the issue of farmer suicides in the state.
The Prime Minister referred to the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana which the Central Government had launched to provide irrigation to farmers, and the Make in India initiative which would boost employment.
He urged the people to elect a BJP state government with full majority to set things right in Maharashtra. He thanked the people for the tremendous response to his rally.
It is noted that Maharashtra is all set to face the election rally on October 15. BJP is leading in all the exit polls earlier and it is also crucial for Prime Minister Modi who has actively participating in the rallies in the state.
