London, May 5 (IANS) An Indian-origin man is set to appear in a British magistrate's court in connection with the alleged murder of a 48-year-old man.
Surjit Singh Sidhu, 48, from Huddersfield in Britain's West Yorkshire, was arrested Friday and subsequently charged with the murder of Martin Ackroyd whose body was found in his flat, the Huddersfield Examiner reported Monday.
The victim, who was living at the flat for four months, was discovered dead by the police.
Sidhu was due to appear before the Bradford magistrate's court Monday.
Earlier, a 30-year-old woman suspect was also arrested for the murder, but was later released on bail.
