Los Angeles, Feb 24 (IANS) Actress Eva Mendes has been appointed as the global ambassador of American womenswear designer Charlotte Ronson's new eyewear collection.
The designer has been tapped as the 2014 participant for the Vogue Eyewear Design Series by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Ronson insists the actress was an easy choice to model her line, reports contactmusic.com.
"Eva embodies the characteristics of a strong, beautiful woman who is also a fashion icon. She's confident and sexy, but has a soft and feminine side," said Ronson.
