Giridih (Jharkhand), Jan.27 (ANI): At least two security personnel were killed and 10 injured when Maoists triggered multiple landmine blasts in Jhankhand's Giridih district on Monday.
Explosions took place when security personnel were conducting an operation in Giridih district, around 250 kilometres from Ranchi, to free four abducted government officials from the rebels.
Two of them were airlifted to Ranchi for better medical treatment.
"We have got information that blasts have taken place and more than 10 security personnel are injured. But I don't know the exact figure," a doctor, Arjun Kumawat said.
The four government employees, who were kidnapped by the Naxals, have been released. (ANI)
