The 11th executive committee election of the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) will be held Oct 15 according to an official statement issued on Monday.
The final list of candidates standing in the election will be declared by the committee on Oct 5.
"There shall be election of 11 members for the executive committee of the union as per the DUSU Constitution" said the statement.
"Not less than two out of these 11 members will be girls" added the statement.
The central panel for the DUSU members was elected on Sep 14 in which the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) won the post of president, vice-president the joint secretary. However, the post of secretary was taken by the National Students' Union of India (NSUI).
