Priyanka Chopra, Bollywood's sexy glamorous star, international singer, winner of Miss World 2000 made hearts miss a beat, when she strutted down the ramp blowing little kisses during the "Bisou Bisou" launch by Reliance Trends at Lakme Fashion Week 2013.
One of the biggest names in global fashion, "Bisou Bisou" (the French for A Little Kiss) will allow Indian fashionistas to get an experience of a world class fashion label.
The "Bisou Bisou" label created by Michele Bohbot, in 1989, has made waves on the trend charts ever since in 15 countries. Michele has been hailed as one of the leading Women Entrepreneurs of the world and the lady caused a sensation in the fashion business.
The collection showcased a cross section of truly international contemporary styles, which thrilled the audience with its timeless look. Sportswear, dresses, swimwear, accessories and fine jewellery are mixed and matched creatively to give the fashionable women in India, many great trendy directions.
Starting with a multi print collection of pencil skirts, sassy chiffon blousons, sexy shorts, tiny tops with embroidery and tunics with smudgy prints; the show had many more easy-to-wear styles for the woman on-the-go. Maxi appeared with embroidered yoke in vibrant pink, while skinny pants and peplum blouses in bright orange were ideal day wear. The black strappy pleated gown with embellished neckline, the cropped jumpsuit, cross-over gown in colour blocking and the brown mini with embellishments were perfect evening glamour.
Black and white monochrome magic started with Op-Art designs for tops, mini skirts, biker jackets, pants and a dress. Peplums played an important part for blouses and dresses, while faux leather added elegance to sides of pants. For more glitter, there were sequined shorts, silver mesh shell, white gown, and black/silver skirt blouse set.
Also walking the ramp wearing stylish Bisou-Bisou designs was Juhi Gogoi, Sunsilk Mega Miss North East 2013.
For that glamorous entry by the very sultry Priyanka Chopra, it was a one-shoulder peplum blouse with a sheer back interest, teamed with sensational cigarette pants.
