One of the most awaited remake of the 1981 classic comedy 'Chashme Baddoor' has released across India today and once again Director David Dhawan has proved the is the Bollywood's King Of Comedy. Starring Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Taapsee Pannu and Divyendu Sharma in lead roles, Chashme Baddoor has kept the expectations of audiences through its comic nostalgia and laugh riots alive and has got an overwhelming response.
Based on Sai Paranjpye's 1981-classic Chashme Baddoor, starring Farooq Shaikh, Ravi Baswani, Rakesh Bedi and Deepti Naval, the new version of the movie is also the story of three friends Sid (Ali Zafar), Jai (Siddharth Narayan), and Omi (Divyendu Sharma) living in Goa and are roommates. While Omi and Jai are lives lively and carefree life and off course are great womanizers, Sid is a decent and humble guy in contrast to his roommates. The story takes a twist after the entry of Seema (Taapsee Pannu) for which, Jai and Omi try every possible way to grab the attention of the lady but ultimately Sid wins the hert of Seema which creates a sense of jealously and rivalry on the minds of Jai and Omi for Sid and they decide to break up their love intentionally.
David Dhawan has once again created his magic of making audiences laugh till end with great piece of direction and various double meaning dialogues. You will surely feel the touch of real bachelor;s life in the movie presented in a generation next style.
Divyendu Sharma as Omi is a must watch as he has will certainly make you laugh and giggle throughout the film with great timing of dialogue delivery. Ali Zafar as Sid is the lucky guy of the Chashme Baddoor and has justified his character. Moreover, he has also sung a song in the movie 'Dhinchkiyaaoon'. Siddharth as Jai is as usual natural in the film.
Rishi Kapoor and Lilette Dubey added extra flavor to Chashme Baddoor with their outstanding piece of acting as ever. The onscreen romance between them is really cuddling as well as credible.
