To scale Mount Everest, the expedition team of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) got green signal for its mission. Union Home Secretary R.K Singh flagged off (SSB) expedition to Mount Everest at a function here on Tuesday.
It is noted that a 10-member SSB expedition team will scale Mount Everest between 22 to 25th of next month through the Nepal route.
Lauded the efforts of SSB personnel, Singh said he has confidence that they will hoist the national flag on Mt. Everest.
"SSB's mountain training has a glorious tradition and the team that is going will carry forward the high tradition," he added, while interacting with mediapersons here.
