BJP provide more efficient alternative for present Congress government: Mehra

Former Mayor of Delhi and BJP candidate from the high profile Malviya Nagar constituency, Arti Mehra has exhorted voters of Delhi to come out to vote in large numbers and throw the inefficient incumbent government out of power. Interacting with voters of her constituency today, the BJP National Secretary heard their grievances and assured them that BJP will provide a more efficient alternative to the present Congress government.

During a series of Padyatra in Humayun Pur and Hauz Rani and meetings in Hardevpuri, Masjid Moth, E- block and Tut sarai throughout the day in which, the BJP leader find that people were distraught with the rising prices and widespread corruption. Women who came out in large numbers to share their problems candidly with the former mayor spoke about the insecurity and lack of safety for them around the capital.

Mehra urged the people to make sure they vote for change. She said the only solution to the people’s problems was the ‘power of democracy’. “We clearly see that people of Delhi are yearning for change. They put their faith in a dispensation for 15 years and have been failed by the government. The only solution is to vote for change.

She appeal to all members of this constituency and the people of Delhi in general to come out in large numbers and vote for change. Realize the power of democracy,” she told the people. During the interactions people recalled the good work done by Ms.Mehra during her tenure as the Mayor of Delhi. Most of the people expressed happiness that one of their favourate candidate is contesting from their constituency.

Several women shared with the former mayor their experiences in Delhi, some saying they were deeply concerned about their safety.
