New Delhi, November 12 (ANI): With the festival season, one needs to take special care of their body and skin.

Here are some tips that will help you detoxify yourself this season.

According to Parents India, autumn and festivities during the last quarter of every year make the skin appear pigmented, blotchy with wrinkles and crow's feet, thus a detox will help the body to get rid of toxins that are accumulated due to excessively indulging in food, drinks and other lifestyle habits.

Cosmetologist Sujata Naik says that people often forget that the most-important element of a beautiful face is a flawless skin, and that a smooth and spotless skin enhances the beauty and the glow of one's skin.

The skin of teenagers is more prone to damage, as they spend more time travelling in the sun and in the ever-polluting urban cities, and therefore one should not wait for their skin to lose its charm.

Drinking water as much as possible, while cleaning your with a good cleanser twice daily.

Eating and applying fresh fruits helps a lot, and exfoliating helps one to get rid of the dead skins, while moisturizing helps skin to rejuvenate.

Naik said that human bodies are designed to ward off chemicals itself, but at times, it becomes our duty to undo the burden on our systems and detox improves these functions, allowing better absorption of nutrients and removal of the waste.

Sticking to a no-oil diet, quitting smoking is the key to a healthy body, while including fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet is very important.

One should exercise regularly and replace coffee and tea with a much healthier option such, as green tea helps to keep the body off toxins. (ANI)
